I finally had a Friday off of school, so I knew I had to take this three day weekend opportunity and fly to Rome. It feels crazy to be able to say that I can fly to Rome for the weekend. Lets be honest, it feels crazy to say I live in Paris now! Anyway, while I had sometime to myself to reflect on what an amazing opportunity I have, I decided to do some searching. I spent the morning before my flight to find some great, one of a kind, home décor and art shops in the heart of Rome. While I had little time to explore, I was not left disappointed. Here are three home décor stores I found:
CONFALONE
This home décor store has a few locations all over Rome, but what they have to offer includes a mix of Italian textiles, vibrant pottery, and beautiful mirrors. If you're in Rome and looking for major pieces to revamp your house, Confalone is your place.
LELA
This little boutique on one of the many alleyways caught my eye during my morning stroll. It reminded me of the little home boutiques back in the United States, except it was all Italian. The flowers, the dinnerware, the textiles, almost all of it! This store would fit perfectly into an English Cottage style home.
CERAMICA RAKU
These handmade ceramic clocks are the perfect wall décor. A little pop of something vibrant, and Italian, will make your house feel more in style than ever. With hundreds of selections differing in sizes and colors, something handmade such as these clocks are a great idea!
